Department of Performing Arts – University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN)

The Department of Performing Arts at the University of Nigeria Nsukka is one of Nigeria’s leading academic departments dedicated to theatre, film, performance studies, and creative arts education. Located within the Faculty of Arts complex, the department trains students in acting, directing, playwriting, stage design, film studies, and other performing arts disciplines.
Students gain both theoretical knowledge and practical experience through stage productions, film projects, workshops, and academic research. The department also collaborates with other cultural institutions and hosts performances in the university’s arts theatre.
